evil empire

Hello Bloggers!!
I have a whole lot of stuff on my mind, none of it more important than what's on your mind. This is the centurion's first post, and I will probably take it slow for a bit...to get used to doing this. Suggestions are welcome, questions are welcome.
Let's start with this: Is every empire evil? Does an evil empire know its evil?
What's on your mind??

    1st welcome aboard I expected that you would join up soon.
    Missed you at the soccer game, after the softball game....I guess you left.
    W/o going into a great explanation...no, not every empire is evil. I prefer to look at it as dark/light. So is every empire in the dark. Most of them can be and probably are but they have the ability to not be.

    Actually, I think that most every empire is indeed evil. Most of them know deep down that they are evil, but they try to convince themselves that they are not as evil as the others and therefore aren't really evil at all. Either that or they try to be the most evil--like the Yankees.

    I missed the 2nd part of the "q" on the 1st time around....on the fear of being influenced by the cheese's opinion....here goes...
    Does the evil empire know it's evil?
    Yes, they know if they are not in the light they are in the dark, that is why people will make excuses if they are not in the light but think they are good/non-evil people/empires. Empires are after all people...are people "not evil"...sure so that leads to the empire being non-evil...I really wanted to clarify what an "empire" is prior to answering.
