2006 FIFA World Cup
It starts today, guys...and if you don't know, you better recognize. China alone is expecting about 10 billion television viewers for their games. World Cup only happens every 4 years, like the Olympics, and I personally find it more exciting. I have met a few people the last couple weeks who are going to Germany to witness some of the matches in person....I must admit, I am a little jealous...
Match 1 is at noon (eastern) today between Germany and Costa Rica. The first USA match is Monday at noon vs Czech Republic. (ESPN.com has the complete schedule).
Check out the venue for this year's tournament. I know the stadium looks calm now, but it won't be by the time you read this. This is the most popular game in the world!
How much of the World Cup do you think you'll watch?

hmm, I don't know anything about the world cup and don't know who plays in it. I didn't even know it only happens every 4 year until I heard it David Letterman. I'm glad you enjoy it so much but I won't be watching it. I guess I would route fot the underdog but I don't know who that is?
