Hero of the Bride

The world lost a warrior of the Lord this past Saturday.
I only met my father-in-law about a year ago.
It didn't take a year to figure out why he was my wife's hero.
Dale loved to love people. I see that in his daughter.
I see that in all his children, and his wife.
I saw that in the many people who came to say good-bye.
I am so glad I got the privilege of knowing Dale,
I'm glad he doesn't have cancer any more.
I shall miss him. A lot.
The Lord is good!

the Vineyard of the Lord

Folks,
We have been in full-time ministry now for about 10 weeks. I thought when we first started this work that we might have to search a while to fill our time. I call this post "the vineyard of the Lord" because He has absolutely filled our days! We have worked our average 55 or so hours, including some training (I wanted some pointers in preaching), and even had to turn some work away! Yes, friends, if you ask the God of Creation for work, He can provide.
The Lord is Good!
