Or maybe you called it Jailbreak..or something else. But what happened to the simplicity of this game? I used to play this all through the summer, and the rules consisted of the boundaries, and no tackling in the road. We climbed trees and houses, cut through yards, hid under cars, and I'm still alive today. Now-days, there's no cutting through this yard or that yard, I need advance notice so I can wear dark clothes, don't touch that car..."Babysitting" jail used to mean you weren't confident in your own game. I know its not all the fault of the young ones. There's more crime to be aware of, more lawsuits, town curfews, adults are more scared of kids getting skinned knees, no peeing outside. (I threw that last one in there because I was actually accused of that by a neighbor.) Let's face it, we have taught our kids to complain. Anyway, I wish things were simpler. Does that mean I'm getting older, or that our kids are getting older?
